The pair were both dressed in matching black ensembles and made sure to protect themselves by sporting face masks.

Hugh kept extra warm with a black beanie from The Laughing Man Foundation, which supports coffee farming communities.

The Australian A-listers tied the knot in 1996 at St. John’s in Toorak, Victoria, a suburb of Melbourne.

On Valentine’s Day Hugh sweetly paid tribute to Deborra-Lee with a photo from their wedding as he gushed ‘Deb. You are, and always will be, the great love of my life. I love you to the moon and back.’

On her birthday he poetically professed: ‘Your courage, wit, open heartedness, loyalty, creativity, joie de vivre, cheekiness and spontaneity inspire me every day. I love you so much more than any caption can convey.’

Both in the business, Deborra-Lee and the Greatest Showman actor met on set back in Australia.

‘It was instant attraction, as in it was probably the best tennis match I’ve ever had…like working with Hugh…when you act with someone and it just flows and we did have an instant connection,’ she shared during an interview with Anh Do.

In a 2018 interview with TODAY, Hugh opened up about the secret to their long lasting marriage, as he spoke about being authentically ‘yourself’ with your partner.

‘Literally from day one, Deb and I had that feeling. It was like a relief. I could just be myself. I am not saying we don’t ever dress up or impress each other, but being comfortable is a key,’ he shared.

Recently it was announced that Hugh would be executive-producing a new show for Netflix called The Overstory, a new project from Game Of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

An adaptation of the novel from Richard Powers, the show – which is currently in development – will focus on the interaction between nature and humanity per the book’s plot.
