Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson pokes fun at his former Australian Idol co-star Mark Holden on Holey Moley 

They’ve made no secret of their long-running feud, and Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson couldn’t resist taking yet another jab at Mark Holden during Wednesday’s episode of Holey Moley.

The 57-year-old former Australian Idol judge reprised his role as pirate ‘Dead-Eye Dicko’ on the hit Channel Seven extreme miniature golf show.

Dicko was tasked with teeing up the balls for the show’s contestants to take their next hit, and after making a bad shot, he blamed it on Mark, 66.

‘It’s gone into the skeleton of Mark Holden,’ he joked, after the golf ball landed near a fake skeleton set up on an island.

He then shot the show’s audience a mischievous grin, as ominous music played overhead and lightning strikes lit up the set.

Dicko and Mark, 66, appeared alongside each other as judges on Australian Idol, but had a falling out in 2008.

After he was fired from the singing show, Mark blamed Dicko for his downfall during a May 2017 interview with WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda.  

‘When I was fired, it was such a shock and I didn’t see it coming,’ Mark confessed at the time.

‘I was so humiliated, publicly humiliated. It was an enormous kick in the guts. And I realised I’d been outplayed by Dicko. 

‘Dicko had completely put me in his pocket and then moved me around like a chess piece. He played me like a violin.’

Dicko left Australian Idol after the first two seasons, but later returned to the show in 2007 with Mark’s blessing.

Just a year later though, the show’s producers decided to cull one of the judges, with Mark ending up on the chopping block.
