Abbie Chatfield announces she is officially done with reality TV after being crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

She has appeared on a slew of reality shows including The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 

But on Tuesday, Abbie Chatfield revealed on Studio 10 that she was official done with reality television.

When asked by host Sarah Harris is she’d consider being the next Bachelorette, the 26-year-old podcaster said she was taking a break from TV.

‘I’m done with reality for a little while, I’m tired, I’m so tired,’ she said. 

However, she did admit her I’m a Celebrity co-star Paulini Curuenavuli would be a good candidate for the Bachelorette.  

‘I want Paulini to be Bachelorette. I think Paulini is lovely, talented, amazing, and we need some diversity as well on Bachelorette, so that would be wonderful,’ she said.

Abbie was crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity on Sunday night’s finale episode. 

The live special saw three finalists – Abbie, Grant Denyer and Jess Eva – return with the rest of cast to face a public vote.

When the numbers came in, Abbie was voted the Queen of the Jungle for 2021.

Grant came in second place, while Jess took out third place.  

Earlier in the episode, Abbie had wept as she looked back at her journey in the jungle, saying she realised she still had ‘a lot to learn’ as a person.

‘Oh, it’s overwhelming. I’m so… I can’t cry, I didn’t think I’d be crying, Julia Morris,’ she said to the show’s co-host, wiping away tears.
