I’m A Celebrity: Shane Richie’s son brands AJ Pritchard a ‘little b***h’

Shane Richie’s son has branded AJ Pritchard a ‘little b***h’ in a furious Instagram video after his father rowed with the dancer over cleaning on I’m A Celebrity.

Shane Nolan, 28, who is the youngest son of EastEnders star Shane, 56, and Coleen Nolan, 55, also said the Strictly dancer should ‘shut up’ after he argued with his father in the camp over dirty pans.

Defending his father, Shane said: ‘He’s not going to be everybody’s cup of tea and when you see people slate your dad, he can’t clean, my step-mum will vouch for that, other people will vouch for that.

‘AJ was a little b***h when he was talking about him. Look how clean I’ve got them. F*** off mate, got a dishwasher mate, back off.

‘But yeah, he probably could have done better than that. Even I would have done better than that. But tomorrow night he’s going to be very very good.’

Shane wasn’t done there – he later told AJ to ‘shut up you little girl’ before saying: ‘Oh he didn’t do the washing up properly, so f*****g what? Jesus get a life.

AJ and Shane had a tiff on Monday’s show after the camp chores were assigned on Sunday night.

And AJ continued to rant over Shane’s ‘dirty’ pans on Tuesday as he complained they weren’t clean enough,

The former Strictly pro, 26, is in charge of maintenance while the EastEnders actor was assigned washing as a chore alongside Ruthie Henshall.

Yet on Tuesday’s episode, camp leader Jordan North asked AJ to do the washing up as Shane was doing a trial and Ruthie was feeling homesick.

After scrubbing the pots and pans, the dancer commented on how much cleaner they were looking thanks to his own handiwork.

To which Beverley Callard asked: ‘So Shane’s done a very bad job?’ with the other campmates looking around.

Commenting on Shane’s ‘dirty’ pans in the Telegraph later on in the episode, AJ said: ‘Oh my God, no wonder our rice has some weird flavour to it.

‘I’ve cleaned the whole thing (pots and pans), they look brand new. You could sell them right now.’

He added: ‘I think they could put a bit more blood sweat and tears into washing up, it’s a bit dirty.’

While he also said to his fellow campmates out of ear shot of Shane: ‘If you’re going to do it, do the job properly.’

It comes after AJ was left unimpressed when he discovered the pans hadn’t been cleaned and ended up having a little tiff with Shane on Monday night.

AJ, who is in charge of maintenance, said to Mo Farah and Giovanna Fletcher that he couldn’t boil water because the pots and pans hadn’t been cleaned.

Giovanna then suggested that he should ask Shane, who alongside Ruthie was assigned washing as a chore, if he could clean a pan.

Talking in the Telegraph, AJ said: ‘I like my job because it’s like “gentle persuasion” or a nudge to some people to maybe say “here’s the washing up, it needs to be done”.’

AJ walked over to Shane and asked him to clean the pots and pans.

However Shane said: ‘I need hot water, I left them to soak last night, all ready to be cleaned but I need hot water.’

This didn’t go down too well with AJ, and the dancer pointed out: ‘But you’ve left them in the pan that does the hot water.’

Shane said ‘left what in the pan?’, to which AJ replied: ‘The big pan that we put the hot water in.’

Shane looked at Vernon as AJ walked away and said: ‘This ain’t working for me, the waiting for someone to do that…’

And speaking with deputy camp leader Victoria Derbyshire, Shane said: ‘This is where people get p**** with each other.’

Victoria replied that they wouldn’t get wound up and Shane said: ‘No, we won’t.’

Talking in the Telegraph, Russell said: ‘Mood today in camp is a little different than it has been the past few days. Everyone has been given specific tasks and there’s been a little of needle, “have you done this”, “have you done that”.’

AJ also reflected on the to-do and said: ‘His [Shane’s] response was I need boiling water to do the washing up, well we need pots and pans to do the boiling water.’

While Shane added: ‘I needed water and someone’s gotta fetch the water and someone’s gotta heat the water and unless I’m barking order I didn’t want to wash dirty plates and pans in cold water.’

Later Giovanna asked if the boiling water on the fire was OK or if it could do with a nudge over the flames.

Shane said it needed a nudge but neither of them could do that because it wasn’t part of their camp chores.

He added: 'I've cleaned the whole thing (pots and pans), they look brand new. You could sell them right now.'

Giovanna said in the Telegraph: ‘One thing we’re finding difficult is everyone had chores allocated. Everyone’s getting on with it, possibly some more reluctantly than others.’

The topic of chores also cropped up after the trial, with some of the campmates starting express a little frustration at being stuck in their roles.

I’m A Celebrity continues at 9pm on ITV.
