‘I’m not ashamed’: Axed Love Island star Sharon Gaffka took to Instagram about her former job

Axed Love Island star Sharon Gaffka took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to tell her followers she was ‘not ashamed’ of her former career in McDonald’s.

After it came to light earlier in the week that she had worked at the fast food emporium, the civil servant, 25, insisted that she was not trying to hide her job when asked if she really did work there in an Ask Me Anything on the photosharing site.

She wrote: ‘Yeah baby! I’m not ashamed to say i used to serve fries and nuggets when i was 16! (not sure why people think i am or tried to hide it!) Jobs a job [sic]’.

The news about her job was shared by an acquaintance on Facebook after she bragged saying: ‘Of course I stand out in Didcot, look at me’ as well as speaking about her penchant for dating bankers, which the user referenced in the post.

The social media user shared an selfie taken by Sharon in the kitchen, while she sported a McDonald’s green polo shirt and a name badge.
