IN THE MONEY: BHP chief exec Mike Henry rakes in £4.7m during his first six months

BHP chief executive Mike Henry raked in £4.7million during his first six months.

The Canadian-born businessman took over from Andrew Mackenzie on January 1.  Some £2.5million came from a performance-bonus arranged in 2015 when he headed BHP’s coal division.

He earned £1.5m from a cash bonus. and so far in 2020, the married father-of-two has taken home £660,000 in salary and £70,600 in pensions and other benefits. His annual basic salary will be £1.3million.
