Irina Shayk shares her beauty secrets in a how-to video that includes her glam tricks of the trade

She is a timeless beauty who has graced many a Vogue cover.

And Irina Shayk let viewers in to her beauty process, sharing a video of her glam makeup secrets to the fashion magazine’s website this fall.

The supermodel, who turns 35 in two weeks, appeared in a gold and black Versace robe, for a recent episode of Vogue’s Beauty Secrets video series.

She had her raven-colored locks pulled back sleekly on her head, beginning the clip with ‘clean skin’.

During the how-to snippet filmed at her bathroom vanity, the ex-partner of Bradley Cooper shared some surprising and practical secrets to how she keeps her youthful and glam appearance.

The first thing Irina does each morning concerns her fresh-faced appearance – she starts her day drinking a glass of water with lemon, using Mimi Luzon’s 24K Pure Gold Treatment.

‘I’m Russian—I love gold!’ the Yemanzhelinsk, Russia-born beauty explained. 

Next, the mother-of-one revealed another secret that involved her heritage.

‘I grew up in very cold weather. When I wake up or travel, and feel a little swollen [with] bags under my eyes, I run to the fridge and I get an ice cube, and [drag it] all around my eye area, my chin, all around my face.’

Other trade secrets shared by Irina included her method of application. 

‘Some girls love to apply makeup with brushes,’ she observed. 

‘I just [find] it so much easier to apply with my finger because you can control it more.’ 

Additional interesting techniques involved Shayk’s iconic eyebrows.

She explained that she uses a toothbrush to comb them, after misting the brush with hairspray. 

In addition to being a highly in-demand model and beauty icon, Irina is mom to three-year-old daughter Lea De Seine, from her relationship with Cooper.

Shayk and the A Star Is Born actor dated from 2015 to last year.
