Remember me? Isla Fisher has hinted there could be a sequel to the 2005 comedy film Wedding Crashers, in which she played notorious ‘stage-five clinger’ Gloria

Isla, who most recently starred in Disney film Godmothered, said there was a lot of potential for a sequel.

‘I think there’s a ton of comedy to be mined in that set-up. Those two [Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson] have such great natural chemistry. They riffed so well together,’ she told hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys.

Turning her attention to her own role of Gloria Cleary, the redhead said she would be happy to reprise the quirky character.

Both Vince and his co-star Owen Wilson hope to revisit the movie with its original director, David Dobkin.

‘Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously [about] a sequel to that movie,’ he said.

Vince didn’t reveal any story details for the sequel, or if original writers Steve Faber and Bob Fischer will return to write the screenplay.

Wedding Crashers followed Jeremy Grey (Vaughn) and John Beckwirth (Wilson), a pair of divorce mediators who spend their free time crashing weddings.

While they crash these weddings purely for free booze and the opportunity to hook up with women, they both meet women who cause them to question their womanizing ways.

The blockbuster comedy also starred Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Bradley Cooper, Christopher Walken, Jane Seymour and Rebecca De Mornay.
