Turning to the group on the judges sofas after one audition, Jesy asked her bandmates: ‘Do you guys still get nervous?’, to which Perrie replied: ‘All the time’.

Jade then added: ‘I’m terrible. I’ve got better but in the beginning I tried everything. I did therapy, counselling to try and calm my nerves.’

However she went on to explain she has learnt to cope with the pressures, saying: ‘I do still get nervous now but I have learnt to deal with it better, but it impacts your vocals so much.’

On Saturday’s show Perrie and Leigh-Anne also had a tiff over one contestant Tamara, who they disagreed on whether she was good enough to go through to the next stage of the competition.

After her performance, the four girls had to decide whether they wanted to put Tamara through to the ‘band room’ or to send her home.

Starting with the feedback, Leigh-Anne told her: ‘The thing that drew me in was the way you performed, I think you’re such a beautiful performer.’

However Perrie wasn’t convinced, telling the 18-year-old: ‘When you sing high it’s beautiful, but when you’re low you’re kind of singing through your teeth, and it was really affecting how I was hearing the performance.’

When it came to the vote, Jesy and Leigh-Anne both said yes, while Perrie disagreed and said no, leaving it down to Jade to decide whether to put Tamara through.

As the decision was being made Jesy tried to convince Jade to send her through, saying: ‘I don’t get why you wouldn’t put her through, I really don’t.’

Eventually Jade said yes to contestant Tamara, a student from Ireland, who eventually made it down to the final five to form the girl vocal group.

Little Mix fans were left delighted last Saturday night after the girl group’s new TV show launched, which saw the girls on the hunt for a boyband and auditioning hopeful potentials.

However as well as loving the performances, many viewers praised the programme for being ‘much more personal than other talent shows’ adding the band’s individual personalities made it all the better.
