Jamie Bell joins Elisabeth Moss and Wagner Moura in new Apple TV Plus series Shining Girls
After playing Abraham Woodhull in AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies, Jamie Bell is returning to the small screen with Shining Girls.
The 35-year-old actor has signed on to star alongside Elisabeth Moss and Wagner Moura in the Apple TV Plus series, according to Deadline.
The ‘metaphysical thriller’ will be adapted from the 2013 best-selling novel of the same name by Lauren Beukes.

The series will center on Moss’ character, a Chicago reporter named Kirby, who survived a brutal attack.
As she tries to hunt down her attacker, she finds her reality shifting in incredibly strange ways.
Moura will portray another reporter who is covering the growing story about a copycat attack following Kirby’s assault.

Bell is playing ‘a mysterious loner with a surprising connection to Moss’ Kirby,’ according to the Deadline report.
Silka Luisa will be adapting the novel to television and serving as the showrunner of the upcoming series.
Leonardo DiCaprio will also executive produce through his Appian Way production company, alongside longtime partner Jennifer Davisson.

Moss will also serve as an executive producer through her Love & Squalor Pictures company along with Lindsey McManus.
Also serving as executive producers are author Lauren Beukes and Alan Page Arriaga.
Bell most recently starred in Amazon’s Without Remorse, alongside Michael B. Jordan and Jodie Turner-Smith.
