Jamie Lee Curtis has come a long way since her star-making role in 1978’s Halloween.

And the two-time Golden Globe winner recently proved that she’s still got it with a risqué red carpet ensemble.

She poked fun at her busty yellow Alex Perry gown, which she wore last weekend to present at the 79th Golden Globe Awards, as she appeared Friday on The Today Show.

The 62-year-old explained her decision to go sexy with this year’s red carpet look: ‘You know, I’m 62 years old, and I’ve been wearing black leggings for a year.

‘And so the truth of the matter is, I’m an actress, and I was privileged to be asked to present at the Golden Globes, and I decided to suit up and show up.’

She joked about her décolletage, which is apparently just as tired of quarantine, noting that it will be a while before she puts on such a sizzling display again.

Jamie said: ‘You know, once in a while, everybody needs to come out, get a little sunshine. They are now well-fed. They are back in the stable. They don’t need to come out for another five years.’

‘My sobriety has been the key to freedom, the freedom to be me, to not be looking in the mirror in the reflection and trying to see somebody else. I look in the mirror. I see myself. I accept myself. And I move on because you know what? The world is filled with things we need to do.’

Jamie previously joked about the dress Monday, as she participated in the Make March Matter kick-off event, benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

She said: ‘Mommy’s a little hungry, because mommy poured herself into a tight yellow dress last night. I’m going to go to Panda and pick up my lunch, because they’re participating, they’re a big donor of Make March Matter.’
