Jay Cutler stirs things up as he enjoys oysters and wine with Shannon Ford

Jay Cutler surprised fans of his wife’s reality series Very Cavallari when he spent time with Shannon Ford on Saturday.

The 37-year-old former quarterback shared a video of himself with Ford and Mark ‘Chuy’ Block to Instagram on Saturday as they enjoyed food and beverages after Thanksgiving.

Shannon, 27, had been a fixture in the early days of his former reality series, until his estrange wife Kristin Cavallari, 33, fired her.

Awkward: Jay Cutler, 37, tried to stir the pot on Saturday as he dined with Shannon Ford, 27, whom his estrange wife Kristin Cavallari fired from their reality series

Jay looked relaxed in a red, white and black patterned button-up shirt while sporting tousled hair.

He gazed blankly into the camera while raising a glass of wine for a toast.

Shannon looked stylish in a large white cowboy hat over her long red locks.

She also had on a plaid shirt that was left unbuttoned to reveal her white crop top, and she rounded out the look with a pair of high-waisted jeans.

‘Oysters and wine,’ the former NFL star captioned the short video, while tagging Shannon and Mark and the oyster bar 167 Raw in Charleston, South Carolina.

‘Stir that pot Jay. Stir that pot,’ wrote one commenter, while another joked, ‘Alexa play “Savage” by Megan thee stallion.’

‘Jay stirring the pot. this is probably going to cause so much drama,’ warned another user.

Shannon joined Very Cavallari in the first season, when she ran the social media accounts for Kristin’s jewelry company.

Though things were initially rosy between the two, the relationship soured after what was presented as job performance issues for Shannon.

In one instance, she sent out an email newsletter advertising some of Kristin’s jewelry, but failed to include a clickable link so that fans could purchase it easily online.

In the season 2 premiere, the former Hills star confronted her about ignoring communications and ‘singlehandedly costing my company money.’

After she had trouble getting in a word to the fast talking Shannon, she fired her on the spot.

Shannon would go on to claim on social media that she was fired for ‘personal reasons’ after her relationship with Kristin took a ‘toxic turn.’

She also alleged the story about her poor performance was a set of ‘lies that were made up’ for the show.

After Kristin announced over the summer that her series would be ending, Shannon celebrated on social media and claimed she was ‘always been bitter about’ her firing in reply to a commenter.
