Also speaking on the Absolutely Not podcast Jennifer revealed it was ‘devastating’ when people thought she faked her famous Oscars fall in 2013.

The star recalled that she even confronted the news broadcaster Anderson Cooper after she heard him say he thought it was fake on CNN three days later.

Jennifer looked stunning in a strapless Dior Haute Couture gown but tripped as she made her way up the stairs to the stage to receive her Best Actress award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook alongside Bradley Cooper.

Speaking about the incident she said: ‘I was very nervous and didn’t even acknowledge the possibility of winning. Then they call my name and I’m elated and in shock, like you kind of black out.

‘And then I fell and it just erased everything from my mind and my whole brain went blank.

‘I can look back on it now I’m a little older more fondly but for a long time the whole thing was very sensitive.

‘Also because I’m sorry but Anderson Cooper I saw him on CNN like three days later saying ‘oh well she obviously faked the fall’ and it was so devastating because it was this horrific humiliation to me.’

Explaining further how the incident made her feel she continued: ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever have a chance to make a speech like that again, like that didn’t feel good for me not to have a speech.

‘And I saw him (Anderson) at a Christmas party and I let him know! But he apologised and I think we’re friends now.’

During the incident in 2013 Both Jennifer’s Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper and her X-Men: First Class co-star Hugh Jackman were seen rushing to the actress’ rescue.

In August, it was reported that the thespian made a colossal $5.7million loss on her sprawling New York City penthouse as it finally sold for $9.9million after a year on the market.

The Oscar-winning star slashed more than $3million off the original price of $15.6million in January, asking for offers of $12million.

Jennifer is next expected on-screen in Adam McKay’s film Red, White and Water, which is in post-production but no release date has been announced.
