‘It was a very big surprise for us’: Jesinta Franklin confirms she is ’18 weeks’ pregnant with her second child to husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin
Jesinta Franklin has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child to AFL star husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.
On Thursday, the 29-year-old took part in an Instagram Live chat with supplement brand Vida Glow founder, Anna Lahey, in which she revealed she is 18 weeks pregnant.
‘Yes, yes nearly half way through. It was a very big surprise for us. Tullulah will be getting a sibling at the end of March next year so she will have just turned one.’

‘So I’ll have a 13-month and a newborn, which was very daunting at first. I found out a week after Buddy went into the hub, which was all just a lot to deal with at once, but yeah, very blessed.’
‘It was very hard to conceive the first time with Tullulah, and for this (pregnancy) to be such an unplanned surprise is a blessing,’ she said
‘I had the moment where, that I wish for with Tullulah, where you pee on a stick and it’s such a surprise and it’s very exciting.
So I got that moment where I feel like I missed out on with Tullulah just because of all the challenges,’ she added, hinting at fertility issues in the past.

Jesinta was asked by host Anna what was next for her, and the brunette beauty laughed: ‘Besides growing a child… I’ve got some exciting projects in the pipe line.
‘We’ve had a massive change of direction once I found I was pregnant again,’ she laughed.
‘I was gearing up to get back into work and I had some really exciting things coming up which obviously didn’t come to fruition because of my pregnancy, which is totally fine.’

Jesinta went on to reveal she is working on more projects with her app coming up, Jesinta added that she is also busy doting on her eight-month-old daughter Tallulah.
‘That’s kind of it at the moment, and just being mum and changing nappies and cleaning the house and folding clothes and reading stories and all those things,’ she added.
Jesinta and her husband Buddy welcomed Tallulah back in February.
The couple tied the knot back in a lavish ceremony in the Blue Mountains, back in November 2016.
