Jodie Comer will star in a Channel 4 drama set in a care home amid the coronavirus pandemic, it was announced on Thursday.
The film, which will also feature Line of Duty’s Stephen Graham, will see the Killing Eve star, 27, play Sarah – a care home worker.
It will tell the story of her relationship with Stephen’s character Tony – a 47-year-old man with early-onset Alzheimer’s – as the care home struggles to cope with the spread of the virus.

The drama, called Help, will be directed by Marc Munden and written by BAFTA-winner Jack Thorne, who penned His Dark Materials as well as the supernatural series The Fades.
Filming is currently scheduled to begin in 2021, when England has come out of lockdown.
Jodie said: ‘To be able to explore such a relevant and emotive story is a real honour.’

Care homes have one of the hardest-hit areas during the COVID-19 pandemic, with many residents separated from loved ones for months.
It’s hoped that the possibility of a vaccine could mean some families can visit their elderly relatives during the festive season, with the government recently claiming some jabs could be distributed in care homes as early as next month.
Jodie is known to many for her role as the ruthless assassin Villanelle in Killing Eve, a role which saw her awarded with a BAFTA and a Primetime Emmy.

Elsewhere Jodie recently defended her boyfriend James Burke over his alleged support of US President Donald Trump.
In a new interview with Porter Magazine Jodie insisted ‘false information came out about’ James, a 26-year-old lacrosse player from Massachusetts, who she has been spotted with numerous times this year.
Some of the Killing Eve star’s fans were upset over the summer when screenshots from James’ alleged Instagram account appeared to show he followed Trump, something which Jodie did not confirm or deny in the interview.
She explained: ‘All this false information came out about him, and people just ridiculed him and me, and my family.’

‘People took these tweets as truth. That was the biggest time my life has been kind of blown up and publicised in that way,’ she said in the candid new interview.
‘A lot of people read things and they go, “Wow, she’s that, she’s this type of person”.
‘And I’m like, “OK, I can spend my life and my energy trying to convince people otherwise, or I can go, I know who I am, I know my truth and that’s good enough for me”.’
