Joe Giudice beams next to two of his daughters Milania and Gia after reuniting in Rome, Italy

Two of his daughters, Milania, 15, and Gia, 19, recently reunited with him in Rome, Italy, after spending nearly a year apart due to COVID-19. 

And Joe Giudice, 49, looked thrilled to be spending time with his teenage girls as they posed for photos in front of the city’s iconic Spanish Steps on Sunday evening.

Earlier in the day, the trio and an unidentified family member enjoyed an alfresco lunch at a local eatery, before indulging in a high end shopping spree in the Eternal City. 

Joe shares Milania and Gia, as well as daughters Gabriella, 16, and Audriana, 11, with ex wife Teresa Giudice, 48.

The former couple finalized their divorce in September, after they separated in December 2019 following 20 years of marriage. 

For one of their snapshots, Gia and Milania stood on each side of Joe and planted a kiss on his cheek. 

As well as taking photos as a family, Gia and Milania each took a separate snapshot with their father in front of the awe-inspiring landmark.

Both girls shared the loving photos to their personal Instagram pages, while Joe posted a photo of the three of them together on his own.

Joe also proved to be the ultimate Instagram by capturing a few photos of Gia and Milania together. 

Gia, who is the eldest of the Giudice daughters, looked ultra stylish in a plaid shirt and pant set that she styled with an oversized black denim jacket.

To give her look an added edge, Gia slipped on some black leather heeled booties and carried her essential belongings in a bright red designer bag. 

Milania also opted for high-waisted plaid plants, but instead of a matching shirt, the 15-year-old threw on a white long sleeve top.

She also appeared to be donning a similar style of boot as her sister’s, which she paired with a chic black over-the-shoulder bag that had a gold chainlink strap.

Joe, an infamous lover of tracksuits, kept casual for the day of fun with his daughters by rocking a solid black suit that had two white stripes down each arm and leg.

His hair was slicked back and he rounded out his ensemble by putting on some black and white Nike brand sneakers.

Although it is unclear exactly what restaurant they were dining at, Joe, Milania, Gia, and their female family member appeared to be enjoying themselves and their dishes.

They were seated out on a patio that was surrounded by flowers and other gorgeous arrangements of greenery.

After filling up their stomachs with some delicious Italian cuisine, the Giudice crew walked around the city and made their way into several designer stores, including Hermès.

Throughout out the day on Sunday, Joe uploaded a slew of snapshots of himself and his girls exploring Rome and making up for lost time.

‘Having Sunday lunch,’ he captioned on a photo of Milania enjoying a snack at home.

During the weekend, Joe, Milania, and Gia enjoyed a sunset hike with Joe’s mother Filomena Giudice.

‘Great day up on the mountain with family,’ he wrote as the family posed next to a massive rock formation. 

Gia proudly sat on the very top of it, while Joe, Milania, and Filomena posed next to it. 

He also included a sweet photo of Gia and her grandmother embracing. 

On Friday, which happened to be the girl’s day of arrival, Milania wrote ‘happy to be back’ on a snap of her and Joe posing together on Instagram.

She also posted a short Instagram story video of Joe as well as the stunning city of Rome.

Joe shared the same image on his Instagram page, adding: ‘Happiness is being with my girls.’

Another image he shared was on Milania and Gia a he grabbed their luggage and put it in the car. 

Her older sister Gia also shared a video of her with dad Joe as he was loading the car.

She says in the video: ‘Say hi Dad!’ 

Joe’s other two daugters Audriana, 11, and Gabriella, 16, did not join them on the trip to see their dad; they are at home in New Jersey with mother Teresa.

He saw his daughters in November 2019 when they visited him in Italy following his 41-month prison sentence for mail, bankruptcy and wire fraud.

Both Joe and Teresa spent time in jail, serving back-to-back sentences so that one parent at a time could be home with the children.

After his prison stint, he was transferred straight to the Clinton County Correctional Center in Pennsylvania and into the hands of ICE in March 2019.  

His deportation was court ordered back in October 2018 and his multiple appeal requests have so far fallen on deaf ears.

In October Joe was released from ICE custody and permitted to return to his native country before a final legal decision on his deportation there.

Joe was born in Saronno, Lombardy and has been in America since childhood but neglected to ever obtain U.S. citizenship, leaving him vulnerable to deportation after he and Teresa were convicted of various counts of fraud in 2014.

Teresa and her husband’s separation went public in mid-December a month after she brought their four daughters to visit him in Italy. 

The girls also spent Christmas with Joe in Italy; they were supposed to visit him in April for Easter but it was canceled because of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Joe and Teresa finalized their divorce in September 2020 after 20 years of marriage; they had tied the knot in  1999. 

In October, just before Milania and Gia’s visit, he spoke to E! News about the upcoming dad-daughter reunion.

He said: ‘I’m excited. It would be nice if all four came, but the little one’s got dance and Gabriella is very on top of her game, she doesn’t like to miss anything. Which is understandable.’

Adding that he ‘Facetimes with them all the time. It is what it is…  We want to set something up for Christmas, we’re talking maybe meeting at an island. Hopefully everything opens up.’
