Josie Gibson leaves This Morning fans cringing as she showcases her rapping skills

She’s the former Big Brother star who’s made a name herself as This Morning’s roving reporter and competition Queen.

But while fans usually lap up Josie Gibson’s antics on the ITV show, Friday’s installment saw viewers left aghast at the presenter as she attempted to showcase her rapping skills.

Listening to the TV presenter, 36, channel her inner Cardi B, viewers were not impressed by Josie’s attempts, with one tweeting: ‘Make it stop for the love of God!’

Oh dear! While This Morning fans usually lap up Josie Gibson’s antics on the show, Friday’s installment saw viewers left aghast at the presenter as she attempted to showcase her rapping skills

The drama occurred when Josie gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Vernon Kay’s new show Game of Talents, where she met up with the man himself for a chat.

After discussing the show, Josie then asked Vernon, 46, to guess what her secret talent was, with the host wrongly guessing magician.

Josie then took it upon herself to show him and she soon launched into a rap all about herself and her This Morning co-stars.

Giving the camera plenty of attitude, Josie began: ‘Hey ho, catch my flow, I’m a wicked MC and no one knows. I’m Bristol Queen, and I’ll tell ya what I mean, I’m from This Morning, you might have seen!’

Getting into her rap, Josie then gave a shout out to her co-stars, giving a ‘bigging up’ Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond.

Whilst being on the empty set of Game of Talents, she also gave a nod to the show as well as host Vernon – though Josie wasn’t as smooth with her rap as she needed the use of a cue card to read her lyrics.

And while Alison and Dermot appeared impressed with her rap, with Alison declaring her pal had ‘bars’, the same couldn’t be said for viewers, who swiftly took to Twitter to air their grievances over Josie’s cringe rapping.

‘Omg please stop Josie’ begged one viewer.

While another complained: ‘Oh my ears!’ and a third urged: ‘NO Josie please no lol’.

A fourth agreed: ‘Make it stop for the love of God’

‘My f**king ears!!!! Help!!!’ tweeted a fifth.

With another person adding: ‘Oh, f**k!!… that sounds painful, Josie!!’

And while Josie’s music career may not take off quite yet, her quest to transform her body is going swimmingly well.

Earlier this month, Josie celebrated fitting into her size 14 jeans for the ‘first time in a long time’ as she shared a fun video.

The This Morning star took to Instagram as she exclaimed she was ‘so happy’ amid her lifestyle overhaul with WW, which is the newly branded Weight Watchers.

Josie admitted that her size 14 jeans were still a ‘bit tight’ but that she was delighted to be able to ‘squeeze them on’ after they previously did not fit.

During the video, the presenter lifted up her blue hoodie to display her toned stomach as she went on to jump on her bed in excitement.

Josie said: ‘Hello guys, I cannot tell you how happy I am. You know, all these lockdowns, the pandemic has been very stressful.

‘How I handle stress is I eat. I’ve always done it and I went up to a size 18. You just get to the point where you look in the mirror and don’t even recognise who you’re looking at anymore.’

Josie admitted that working with WW has been the ‘best decision she has ever made’.

She continued: ‘I was a 18, this morning I’ve just squeezed on a pair of size 14s. I’m so happy, so happy.

‘Don’t get me wrong, they’re a bit tight, but to go from a size 18… these did not fit me before and to squeeze back into my 14s, I haven’t been doing it that long.

‘I will be honest, I should have trained more, mainly diet with me, so much going on,’ Josie added that she is going to ‘up her training’ once gyms reopen.
