Former Australian politician Julie Bishop paid homage to her late friend Carla Zampatti on Thursday, as she attended the late designer’s star studded state funeral in Sydney.
Julie, 64, looked nothing short of incredible as she wore one of Carla’s designs to pay her respects at the service, which was held at St Mary’s Cathedral.
The former Minister for Foreign Affairs turned heads in a $929 black velvet and feather dress, which she teamed with a stylish pair of stiletto heels from Aquazurra.

Julie’s frock featured an off-the-shoulder design, long sleeves and finished just above the knee.
She added height to her frame in tottering $755 heels from Aquazzura, which have been seen on the likes of Meghan Markle.
Julie, who recently grew out her short blonde hair, tied her long locks back and off her face and completed her look with makeup including a glossy lip and a lined eye.
