Kaley Cuoco would ‘definitely be open’ to a Big Bang Theory reunion but wants to wait a while: ‘I’m excited to see how everyone flourishes’

She starred on this enormously popular CBS television show for 12 years.

And Kaley Cuoco would ‘definitely be open’ to a Big Bang Theory reunion – just not anytime in the immediate future.

The 35-year-old actress, who starred as Penny in the comedy opposite Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, said that while she’d love to get back together with her former co-stars, it ‘still feel like yesterday’ that the show wrapped (in 2019).

Her excitement at the prospect, however, comes from another highly anticipated TV reunion.

‘I would definitely be open to some sort of reunion show,’ Kaley shared.

‘I can’t wait for the Friends one, and so I’m definitely open to doing one ourselves as well.’

‘It does still feel like yesterday that we wrapped,’ the Wedding Ringer star reasoned.

‘I think everyone is kind of trying out their new paths and seeing what their next project is, and I’m excited to see how everyone flourishes.’

One exciting new path for Cuoco is her critically acclaimed new show on HBO Max, The Flight Attendant, which nabbed her a Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations this year.

‘I think in a few years or whenever anyone’s open to it, I definitely will be down for that,’ Kaley added.

‘It was a life-changing experience for all of us, and it’d be great to do that for the fans, too, because we had such an amazing fan base that stuck with us for so long.’

In the interim, however, the star is hard at work on various new projects, including voicing Harley Quinn in an animated DC series.

And just this week, Kaley announced the acquisition of a book, A Season With Mom by Katie Russell, which she will produce through her company Yes, Norman.
