Karl Stefanovic and the Today show team’s cringeworthy attempt to recreate a Backstreet Boys dance routine… all led by TikTok queen Belinda Russell

Belinda Russell has become Today Extra’s resident TikTok queen thanks to her incredible dance moves.

And on Friday, she led a dance routine to the Backstreet Boys 1997 hit song, Everybody, in celebration of the iconic boy band.

The 42-year-old was joined by her co-host David Campbell, as well as the Today show crew – Alex Cullen, Brooke Boney and Karl Stefanovic.

Understandably, Allison Langdon sat out due to her leg injury from a hydrofoil accident sustained in February, but cheered her pals on from the side lines.

Belinda was dressed in her TV presenting ensemble of a orange satin halterneck top with black trousers, but had on a pair of white sneakers to lead the choreography. 

David looked sharp in his navy suit, while Karl undid several buttons to reveal his chest.

As Belinda went through each of the dance moves, her colleagues appeared to catch on with relative ease. 

However, Karl appeared to struggle with copying the steps, causing Allison to laugh at him from the sidelines. 

After going through the moves, it was time for the Today show dance crew to perform to the song.

And hold: The group was able to come together for the final step of a boy band pose, which say all of them, except for Belinda, kneeling with a hand sign

Belinda and David had the moves down pat all the way through the performance, but Alex, Brooke and Karl appeared to go freestyle midway through.

Belinda, who is a mother of three daughters, is no stranger to doing fun dances as she often shares videos of them on her TikTok where she as more that 131,000 followers.
