Home and Away’s Kate Ritchie sports crimped hair as she parties with longtime pal Chris Hemsworth and other A-list stars at 80s themed party

It’s been more than 10 years since Kate Ritchie and Chris Hemsworth starred alongside each other on Seven’s popular soap Home And Away.
But it’s clear the actors have remained as close as ever over the years.
On Saturday, Kate, 42, was spotted partying it up with Chris and younger brother Liam at a star-studded 80s party in Sydney.

Making a statement, Kate wore a black printed T-shirt and bright pink lipstick as she posed alongside a friend at the party.
She crimped her hair for the themed party, organised for Chris Hemsworth’s personal assistant Aaron Grist’s 37th birthday.
Aaron has known Chris since primary school, and likely met Kate during Chris’ time on Home and Away.
They were also joined by Hollywood actors Matt Damon and Idris Elba, who wore the same matching set of Adidas track pants and jacket as Chris.

Chris has previously described his former co-star as a ‘talented’ and ‘a stunning woman’, while Kate has confirmed Chris is as ‘gorgeous on the inside’ as he appears on the outside.
The actress has now been a friend of the famous family for more than a decade, and has even been spotted enjoying lunches with Chris and Liam’s parents at times.

Kate recently spent a romantic holiday in Byron Bay with her new boyfriend John Bell, 25, in January.
Chris, Elsa, Liam, Matt and Lauren are primarily based in Byron Bay, but actors Chris, Elsa and Matt have been regularly flying into Sydney for filming commitments.
Thor: Love and Thunder began production on January 26, with Matt Damon joining the filming last month. Elsa has been filming new film, Carmen.
