They tied the knot in June 2019.

And one year after their nuptials, Katharine McPhee, 36, and David Foster, 70, are ‘definitely trying’ to have a baby, according to Us Weekly‘s multiple sources.

The composer is already dad to five daughters.

David had daughter Allison, now 50, when he was 20 and put her up for adoption, later reconnecting when she was 30.

He has daughter Amy Skylark, 47, with first wife B.J. Cook.

David has daughters Sara, 39, Erin, 37, and Jordan, 33, with second wife Rebecca Dyer; they were married from 1982 until 1986.

He had married third wife Linda Thompson in 1991 but divorced in 2005.

David then married fourth wife Yolanda Hadid in 2011 but announced their split 2015, they finalized their divorce in 2017.

Katharine was previously married to Nick Cokas from 2008 until she filed for divorce in 2014 after reportedly being separated for a year; their divorce was finalized February 2016.

David and Katharine sparked romance rumors in May 2017.

They got engaged in June 2018; they tied the knot on June 28, 2019 at the Armenian Church of St Yeghiche, South Kensington in London. 

They wed in front of 100 guests with their daughters in attendance. 

Last year, Sara and Erin said that they ‘fully expect her to have a child and full support it,’ according to Us Weekly.

Erin said: ‘When there is something happening that people have opinions on, everyone wants to create a narrative about how you hate that person.’

Adding: ‘Instead of letting anyone take liberties in creative that narrative for us, we are making it clear that we love Katharine.’
