Katharine McPhee shares first photo with her newborn baby boy as she says ‘I love being a mommy!’
Katharine McPhee is giving her social media fans and followers a first glimpse at her newborn son, who only arrived on Planet Earth less than two weeks ago.
On Saturday, the singer and actress shared an adorable photo of herself, beaming with pride, while cradling her her boy in a baby carrier during a casual walk.
‘Just in case you were wondering… I love being a mommy!’ McPhee, 36, wrote across the top of the image, along with a colorful rainbow emoji.

With a smile that helped light up the sky, the American Idol alum struck a pose with her arms wrapped around her son seemingly in a suburban California neighborhood.
She kept it casual but stylish in the fashion department in a black skirt, that came down to about mid-calf, and a fitted white long-sleeve shirt.
The Broadway star also donned white sneakers for their stroll and had her brown tresses pulled back into a ponytail.

McPhee, who has yet to share the name of the baby publicly, teased fans by only having her boy’s head visible.
There also appeared to be a stuffed animal positioned right next to him in the baby pouch.
‘Katharine McPhee and David Foster have welcomed a healthy baby boy. Mom, Dad and son are all doing wonderfully,’ a representative for McPhee told People on February 24, right after the birth.

The 71-year-old is already the proud father to five adult daughters: Sara, 40, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34, whom he shared with second wife Rebecca Dyer.
He also has daughters Allison, 50, and Amy, 47, from previous relationships.

The couple first met in 2006 when McPhee was a contestant on the fifth season of Fox’s American Idol and Foster was a mentor on the singing competition series.
They began dating in 2017, got engaged while on holiday in Italy in July 2018, and eventually tie the knot at a church in London, England in June 2019.
McPhee documented her pregnancy on social media with photos that often showed her showcasing her baby bump.
The Los Angeles native slips into the role of nanny in Country Comfort, a new musical comedy series that premieres on Netflix March 19.
