Katie Price returns to her beloved extensions despite hairdressers being closed

She surprised fans by displaying her natural cropped hair last month.

But it seems Katie Price has already returned to her beloved hair extensions as she took to Instagram to plug a set of electric curlers on Wednesday.

The former glamour model, 42, unveiled her transformation in a video posted to Instagram Stories, despite hairdressers still being closed during the Covid lockdown.

Katie showed off her raven tresses as she shared the video promoting her favourite new electric curler.

The star offered a demonstration of the product before unveiling her finished curls,  gushing that she ‘loves’ using them.

Katie’s new look came despite hairdressers, beauty salons and other personal care services being forced to remain closed during England’s third Covid lockdown. 

Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Monday that salons will finally reopen on April 12, after being closed for over three months. 

It comes just weeks after Katie surprised fans by displaying her natural cropped hair after revealing plans to auction off her used hair extensions.

On Sunday, she re-shared an Instagram post from salon Weaves and Waves, giving fans the chance to win and wear her used extensions.

The post, which featured a luscious locked Katie pouting for the camera, read: ‘Katie Price is raffling off her head unit of £1000 worth of hair extensions only worn 6 weeks as we have changed her colour.’

It comes after sources claimed that Katie was stunned to learn that the £1.2 million home she’d been renting in Surrey had been sold.

The star has also been hoping to purchase a property with her toyboy Carl Woods, 32, whom she has been dating since June 2020.

A source has now claimed that Katie is preparing to move into her third place in a year after deciding to live between her beau Carl’s pad and the £4,250-per-month abode when she left her infamous ‘mucky mansion’ behind. 

Katie moved into the car dealer’s home in Essex last September and rented a three-bedroom home for her son Harvey, 18, across the road to help him prepare to go to a specialist college full time.

The reality star, who was once worth more than £40million, was made bankrupt in 2019 after the High Court found she had failed to stick to a plan to repay her debts, estimated to be £800,000. 

She was forced to give up her £2million 11-bedroom mansion a month later after signing the property over to a trustee. 

Katie took out a second mortgage on the property in 2015, but faced monthly payments of £12,300, and is now thought to be £100,000 in arrears.
