Kelly Marie Tran keeps it cute and casual as she introduces her new movie Raya and the Last Dragon

Kelly Marie Tran faced some racism and online bullying with her Disney debut.

But the Star Wars actress is back in a big way, as she adds Disney Princess to her impressive résumé.

She kept it cute and casual Friday as she introduced her new animated movie Raya and the Last Dragon, before a screening at the reopening of the historic El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old repped the film with a printed black sweatshirt, which she layered over an orange blouse.

She complemented the look with some skintight black jeans, a black leather belt and a pair of matching black leather shoes.

Tran tied her hair in a red and white striped wrap and took precautions against COVID-19 in a white N95 respirator mask.

She introduced the movie with the help of Carlos López Estrada, who directed alongside Don Hall.

The Sorry for Your Loss actress added: ‘We can talk about the interaction between mental health and social media, but also mental health and this idea of fame and what it does to you. It is not normal. 

‘For me, that navigation is about how I protect myself in a way where I can continue to work in this world, and continue to lift the stories that I feel like the world needs to hear.’

Tran starred as Rose Tico, a mechanic with the resistance, in 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
