Kelly Ripa wishes her oldest son Michael a happy 24th birthday

Kelly Ripa took to Instagram to wish her oldest child, son Michael Joseph Consuelos, a very happy birthday.

The 50-year-old talk show host shared a number of throwback snaps of her son, while wishing him a happy 24th birthday.

Michael is the oldest of three children Ripa shares with her husband Mark Consuelos, along with 19-year-old daughter Lola and 18-year-old son Joaquin. 

’24 years ago at 7:17pm you made your grand entrance into our lives and began our family! We love you bigger than big!

She also shared a two and a half minute video, set to the Muddy Waters classic Mannish Boy.

The video featured a collage of throwback family photos throughout the young man’s life, with his parents and siblings and more.

Her husband Mark Consuelos also commented, ‘Love you @michael.consuelos’ before sharing some more snaps on his own Instagram.

‘Happy 24th birthday @michael.consuelos!! You led the way.. We love you!!!’ proud papa Mark added.

Michael also got birthday wishes in the comments of Kelly’s post by Holly Robinson Peete, Kandi Burruss, with Michael himself responding.

‘Wouldnt be here without you. Thanks mom❤️❤️❤️❤️ it’s as much your day as It is mine. Arguably more, since you did all the hard work haha,’ he joked. 

Mark’s post also featured comments from Cub Swanson who called the father and son, ‘TWINS’ along with his Riverdale co-star Marisol Nichols.

Ripa started her performing career as a regular dancer on Dancin’ on Air and Dance Party USA, before starting her acting career.

Ripa landed the role of Hayley Vaughn on the soap opera All My Children in 1990, where she met Mark Consuelos in 1995.

They started dating shortly thereafter, and eloped in May 1996, with the couple celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.

Ripa and Consuelos share three children, Michael Joseph, 23, Lola Grace, 19 and Joaquin Antonio, who celebrated his 18th birthday in late February.
