Miss Asia was taken to the LAPD’s Hollywood headquarters, where she was later picked up by one of Gaga’s bodyguards.

Fischer had been caring for the three dogs while Gaga is away in Rome, Italy, working on a new movie.

Police described the suspects in the shooting as two black males, who were wearing baseball caps.

They fled the scene northbound on Sierra Bonita Avenue in a white BMW or possibly a Nissan, police said.

It’s currently unclear whether Gaga’s dogs were specifically targeted.

French bulldogs are in high demand and expensive. They typically sell for anywhere between $1,500-$3,000 on average, however those with pedigree lineage can go for as much as $10,000.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, the LAPD confirmed the shooting, but said it was too early to know ‘if it was a robbery’. Investigators are also not yet ruling out gang violence or homelessness.

Lady Gaga’s representatives have not yet returned a request for comment on the shooting or theft of the star’s dogs.

However, sources have reportedly told TMZ that the 34-year-old is ‘extremely upset’ and is offering $500,000 to anyone who is currently in possession of Koji and Gustavo ‘no questions asked’.

This is a developing story…
