Larsa Pippen and Malik Beasley strike Christmas tree pose amid his divorce from wife Montana Yao

Kim Kardashian’s former best friend Larsa Pippen is getting into the Christmas spirit with her married boyfriend Malik Beasley – pictured Sunday in his hometown of Minnesota – despite the controversy surrounding their new relationship. 

Larsa, 46, and Malik, 24, were caught out late last month holding hands, prompting the NBA player’s wife Montana Yao, 23, to file for divorce following nine months of marriage, reportedly having had no idea their union was over. 

Undeterred by the cheating scandal, Larsa and her new man have been inseparable ever since, with the influencer and former wife of Scottie Pippen acknowledging the romance in a recent Instagram Story. 

‘Sometimes you meet a person and you just click – you’re comfortable with them, like you’ve known them your whole life, and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone or anything,’ Larsa wrote. 

However, Montana was said to be blindsided by the affair. 

The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard and Larsa were spotted on November 23 holding hands.

The picture sparked a scandal as he and Montana have been married since March and share a son together.

During their outing, Larsa, who shares four kids with her estranged husband Scottie Pippen, went braless in a black jumpsuit while Malik wore a colorful sweat suit.

After her husband’s relationship with Larsa went public, Montana took to Instagram to share her feelings; the mother of one wrote on her Instagram stories: ‘Wow… I don’t even know this man.. this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all.’

She revealed soon after that she was ‘told to leave’ their family home and that he never spoke to her about the infidelity, she explained in a lengthy Instagram statement posted on December 9.

‘I’m focusing on healing myself and becoming the best mother I can be at this time,’ Montana wrote in her statement.

Montana is said to have filed the paperwork in Minnesota, where the couple have been living since he was traded to the Timberwolves in February. 

Montana and Malik married on March 5, 2020 and welcomed son Makai Joseph on March 26, 2019. 

Lara and Scottie are parents to four children together: sons Scotty Jr, Preston, and Justin, and daughter Sophia.

They wed in 1997 but split in October 2016; Scottie filed for divorce from her just two days after two voice recordings were released with Larsa alleging that he was verbally aggressive to her in a call to the police.

Cops made two visits in early October 2016 for domestic disturbances but no further details were ever known.

He asked the divorce to be dismissed in November 2017, suggesting they reconciled – with the duo hitting the carpet together in February 2018.

However, in November 2018 Larsa filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage, after allegedly cheating on him, an allegation she later shut down on Twitter in since-deleted tweets.
