It is not the first time Lauren has used her phone while driving, having previously shared similar videos on social media.

It also appears that Lauren is not wearing a seatbelt in the video, which can carry a fine of up to £500.

Using a mobile phone while driving is against the law in the UK, and is punishable by six penalty points on a licence and a £200 fine.

Drivers are allowed to use a phone if it is fully hands-free but they cannot pick it up and use it to communicate.

It comes after Lauren Goodger vowed to take a month off drinking following her boozy outing with a mystery man at Cirque le Soir in Soho on Saturday.

The former TOWIE star took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal she was left ‘cringing’ after her appearance and asked her social media followers to give her ‘willpower’ to resist alcohol ahead of a pal’s upcoming birthday party.

This isn’t the first time Lauren claimed she’s giving up alcohol as she toyed with the idea in March after feeling ‘anxious’, with the hangover bringing back memories of her nightmare Boxing Day hospitalisation.

The brunette claimed the unfortunate after-effects of her night out were not unlike the symptoms that led to her needing medical attention in December.

CBB star Lauren told fans at the time: ‘My anxiety has been literally awful today like how I was at Christmas!

‘So it means I am going have to go on strike again and stay in back to training and not drinking! Literally worst day ever.’

Her social media activity comes after she was forced to hit back at internet trolls in a defiant interview with The Sun.

The influencer also boasted she is Kate Middleton’s favourite TOWIE star and hit out at ‘haters’ that branded her an attention seeker.
