Lewis Hamilton looks effortlessly cool in double denim as he prepares for the Grand Prix in Azerbaijan

He’s known just as much for his fashion sense as his sporting prowess.

And Lewis Hamilton looked effortlessly cool as he arrived for the Formula One Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan on Friday, in a double denim ensemble.

The British racing car driver, 36, covered up his lean frame in a white T-shirt, a light blue denim jacket and matching jeans.

Lewis added vibrant blue and green trainers to the look, and concealed his gaze behind black designer sunglasses ahead of his latest spin on the track.

He also wore a white face mask and tied his bleached locks into a ponytail.

Lewis appeared relaxed and at ease, checking his iPhone as he walked around the circuit prior to practice with a member of the Mercedes F1 team.

The seven-time world champion kicked off a great F1 season, having won three of the first five races in Bahrain, Portugal and Spain.

However he is keen to prove himself once again, having finished seventh in Monaco last month.    

Lewis is already looking to the future, showing a keen interest in acting following his eventual retirement from the sport.

Having only appeared briefly in films including Zoolander 2 and Cars 2, he wants to perfect the craft ‘step by step’.

He recently told DAZN: ‘I want to be the best. In everything I do, I want to be. I would love to act one day, but I am very conscientious. I like to learn step by step.

‘I had opportunities and I know that I need time to prepare myself, because I want to be the best. In everything I do, I want to be. To do the best I can.’

Lewis added: ‘If I’m going to make a movie, I’ll go to class, study, and make sure I express my emotions as I should.’
