Superman actor Dean Cain, 53, who was on Lois & Clark in the ’90s, makes a rare sighting in LA as he wears MECHANIC GLOVES to pick up groceries
Dean Cain stepped out from quarantine amid California’s coronavirus lockdown to stock up on the essentials in Calabasas at the grocery shop at Erewhon Natural Foods.
The 53-year-old actor, who played Clark Kent in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman from 1993 until 1997, looked extra cautious in a pair of mechanic gloves made by Mechanix as he attempted to dodge the global virus.
In addition to protecting his hands, the Supergirl star sported an olive green T-shirt, shorts and Nike trainers as he shopped for groceries.

As he slipped into the store, he kept his gloves on as a precaution before picking up any items or a cart.
Most stars have been wearing plastic gloves, which can rip. It appears as if Dean went the extra mile with his Mechanix gloves which are used by mechanics to protect them when working on car engines. They cost about $25 a pair.
Despite the harrowing pandemic causing for the shutdown of all non-essentials businesses in his state, the ex of Brooke Shields appeared unfazed, as he strolled solo with his baseball cap turned backwards.

Feeling good: The Man of Steel’s outing comes after he underwent an advanced stem cell therapy on his bum knee, which he injured at a Buffalo Bills training camp before his rookie season in the late 1980s
In April, Cain decided to have the treatment on his right knee to provide some much needed relief (and he invited DailyMailTV cameras along to watch.)
The 52-year-old visited the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center in Beverly Hills, California where a nurse administered the stem cell injections directly to the joint.
At $10,000 a pop the life-changing therapy – using Wharton’s Jelly derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (WJ-MSCs) – harvested from the umbilical cord of full term babies – didn’t come cheap.
The hero! Seen on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman with Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane; the show aired from 1993 until 1997
Speaking exclusively to DailyMailTV immediately after the treatment Cain said: ‘Wow that hurt, I had to take a minute to get my breath.’
‘Superman is infallible but me, the actor who plays him, certainly fallible,’ he joked ‘I’ve never had any stem cells injected into me anywhere, anything at all.
Cain spoke of having ‘chronic’ pain over the years, even on set of the hit TV series which ran for four seasons from 1993-1997.
But he said as a young man he was able to deal with the discomfort and swelling and maintained a pretty active lifestyle.
