Loose Women’s Denise Welch UNFOLLOWS Coleen Nolan

The claws are certainly coming out in the Loose Women studios.

And on Tuesday, it was reported that panellist Denise Welch, 62, had unfollowed Coleen Nolan, 55, after her manager branded Nadia Sawalha, also 55, ‘nasty’ and a ‘witch.’

On Saturday, Denise showed her support for Nadia further when she shared a picture of herself with Nadia, writing: ‘One of the loveliest of friends.

‘Have absolutely zero idea of when this was or where but it was a long time ago!! Love you Nads!! @nadiasawalha ❤️❤️.’

While Coleen didn’t criticise Nadia herself, no doubt Denise is annoyed that she hasn’t spoken out to defend her.

The Sun reported that Nadia had also unfollowed Coleen on Twitter and Instagram, but quickly refollowed her.

Her spokesperson insisted to the site at the time that they’re good friends and it was a mistake.

MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Denise for further information.

Coleen and Denise both appeared on Loose Women on Tuesday but Denise filmed from home. They did not allude to any sort of spat.

The trouble all started when Coleen’s manager, Melanie Blake went on a Twitter rant and dubbed Nadia ‘nasty’ and a ‘witch’.

Blake is responsible for the management company Urban Associates, which represents Coleen and Loose Women co-star, Saira Khan.

She called out Nadia last Thursday after The Loose Women panellist spoke out against body shaming and encouraged others to ‘be kind’ to themselves.

Nadia had said: ‘Nobody in my entire life has ever said anything as nasty to me as I’ve said about myself.’

This prompted an outburst from Melanie who claimed that the Loose Woman is  totally different behind the scenes and that she is not the only person who thinks so.

She penned on Twitter:  ‘It’s a shame she ‘officially’ gave up acting because Nadia deserves an Oscar for this speech.

‘In 20 years of repping clients I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone.

‘Her constant “be kind” etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.’

Melanie didn’t shy away from her words when she also replied to a Twitter user with: ‘The time will come. I’d let sleeping dogs lie if she didn’t bleat on about “being kind” every time she gets the chance – when behind the facade she is anything but.’

On Thursday evening, Nadia did not directly address Melanie but thanked her fans for their support after receiving the harsh comments.

She said to her Instagram followers: ‘Hi guys, I just lifted this from Insta Stories. Sorry if you’re following me on both platforms, I don’t want to be boring.

‘Basically, I haven’t had the best couple of days but not every day can be the best day, can it?

‘I just wanted to say a really big thank you to my friends, colleagues, the strangers, the followers, the subscribers that have messaged me privately and on here.

‘You’ve absolutely warmed my heart and left me finishing the day remembering there really are so many more good people than bad people.’

Her husband Mark Adderley also shared a supportive message to his wife on Instagram, posting a loved-up selfie and he insisted that he ‘has her back’.

Nadia also took to her Instagram Stories to share an equally similar video, she said: ‘Something happened today which wasn’t very nice, not every day is nice.

‘I have had so many lovely messages, I didn’t really want it to go left unsaid to my many colleagues who have texted and messaged today, some I haven’t seen for years. Some on different shows…

‘To the subscribers, followers, friends and strangers, there are so many more good people than bad people in the world. Thank you.’

Unfollowed: It is unclear when Nadia removed Coleen from her Instagram or Twitter but she immediately refollowed her co-star when it was pointed out and she claims it was an accident

Coleen does not follow Nadia on Instagram and has not commented on the debacle, so the recent outburst from her manager raises speculation over the future of their friendship.

However, according to a source at ITV, the star is nothing but lovely and the online attack was unwarranted.

They said to the The Sun: ‘The industry knows that Nadia is the most kind and lovely human being.

‘She is a thoroughly good egg and everyone who works with Nadia only has the best things to say about her.’
