Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke reveals he wants a stint on Neighbours or Home and Away

Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke has revealed he wants a stint on one of Australia’s most iconic soaps. 

Talking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia last week, the 33-year-old Made in Chelsea star said he would love to make an appearance on either the long-running Neighbours or Home and Away. 

After British singer Ed Sheeran made a cameo appearance in Summer Bay, Ollie admitted: ‘People forget that I am an actor by trade.’

‘People forget that I am an actor by trade, I did a film called ”Greed” a few years ago with Isla Fisher and Steve Coogan, who played my parents-in-law,’ he said. 

‘But I would adore to have a stint in Neighbours or Home and Away!’

He finished: ‘I’m also missing Australia a lot and can’t wait to go back, as soon as I am allowed.’

Back in late 2015, Ed Sheeran thrilled fans as he made a cameo appearance on Home and Away.

The British singer played ‘Teddy’, a singer who Marilyn Chambers (played by Emily Symons) used to look after when she lived in the UK. 

The reunited pair then walk along the beach arm-in-arm, with Ed telling her: ‘This is nice here. You’ve done well’.

On the show, Teddy also played an intimate gig to a delighted crowd at Angelo’s bar.  

Talking about his role, Ed previously said: ‘It’s an Australian institution. It’s always on in my local chip shop.’

‘I got asked to do it and it sounded like it could be fun. I did Shortland Street in New Zealand as well and I’m sure if Emmerdale or EastEnders ever ask me in England I would do that as well.’

Meanwhile, Ollie is celebrating the 21st series of the hit E4 show, Made in Chelsea. 

The 33-year-old revealed that he feels ‘lucky’ to still be part of the show and said he would love an original cast reunion.

In particular, Ollie said he would love to see Caggie Dunlop, 32, make a return.

‘I think Caggie coming back would be wonderful,’ he told Daily Mail Australia, being an original cast member of the franchise.  

Ollie fondly spoke about his time on the show over the years and says he looks back at it all with ‘a real mixture of emotions’.

‘Pride of being on this show for so long is very much one of them,’ he said.

‘Luck, difficulties, kindness of people who watch the show, and we have to mention some hideous break-ups. But above all an adventure which I simply couldn’t have foreseen and what a way to live your twenties.’
