Maggie Gyllenhaal arrives for dinner with the rest of this year’s Cannes Jury in a cream blouse and vintage shades on the eve of the 2021 Film Festival
Maggie Gyllenhaal is part of the Cannes Film Festival Jury 2021, and was seen arriving to dine with her fellow jurors on Monday evening.
Turning up to the Hotel Martinez on the eve of the opening of the Festival, the actress, 43, looked chic in a creamy blouse, buttoned to the collar, with large puffed sleeves.
She added black slacks and matching leather sandals to the look.

Maggie grinned as she made her way inside, wearing vintage shades.
She wore her brunette locks in a choppy bob, keeping make-up natural, with a slick of bright red lipstick to her pout.
Once inside, she chatted to her fellow jurors, as they congregated on the terrace for the Jury dinner.
This year’s winners will be decided and announced by a nine-member Jury, which includes Spike Lee, Song Kang-Ho, and Melanie Laurent.

The gongs will be handed out at the end of the Festival on July 17, with films by Leos Carax, Wes Anderson, Sean Penn, and Paul Verhoeven all in the running.
Maggie is an Academy Award-nominated actress, producer, writer and director, beginning her career appearing in the cult favorite Donnie Darko in 2001).
She starred in a breakout role in 2002’s Secretary, followed by Sherrybaby in 2006.

Both of these performances saw her nominated for a Golden Globe.
Further credits include World Trade Center (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Crazy Heart (2009). The latter earned the actress her first Oscar nomination.
She has also worked on The Honourable Woman (2014), The Deuce (2017), The Kindergarten Teacher (2018) and recently adapted and directed her first feature film, The Lost Daughter.
