Mama June Shannon’s boyfriend Geno Doak got the tables turned on him when her daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird staged a surprise confrontation with him on Friday’s new episode of Mama June: Road To Recovery.
Pumpkin opened up about her inability to fully trust Geno and June but was surprised at how open he seemed about his addiction struggle with her mother.
She staged her own surprise appearance after Geno twice dropped in on meetings with June that were supposed to be family-only.

The episode opened with a rehash of Geno’s surprise appearance and Mama June’s reunion with Pumpkin and her daughter Ella.
‘Whenever you‘re ready, and take as much time as you need, but I do wanna be part of your life and talk to you, try to get past this. That’s all I wanted to say and I’ll let you guys get back to your visit,’ he said in a rush of words before turning around toward the parking lot.
June was apologetic, as she told him to stay in their truck, but Pumpkin decides to give him a taste of his own medicine with an unscheduled drop-in at June and Geno’s hotel.
He interrupts June chewing him out over his unannounced appearance to answer the door, only to be shocked to see Pumpkin there.

But when it’s Geno’s turn to speak, he’s surprisingly willing to take responsibility for his actions, while still explaining how his and June’s drug addiction altered their perception.
‘The drugs clouded our minds,’ he says, before recounting how they felt compelled to snort cocaine off the bathroom counter in their old hotel for hours on end, even though their bodies were crying out in pain from their poor health.
He also said they didn’t feel as if they could stop the drug use, even after dropping $50,000 on drugs in a short period of time.
