Married At First Sight fans baffled by Seb’s willingness to get tattoo

‘The most whipped man in Australia!’ Married At First Sight fans are baffled by how quickly Elizabeth Sobinoff managed to convince ‘husband’ Seb Guilhaus to get a TATTOO on his foot

Married At First Sight fans branded Seb Guilhaus ‘the most whipped man in Australia’ during Monday night’s episode.

In a series of tweets, viewers were left baffled as to how quickly Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Sobinoff managed to convince the 30-year-old to get a tattoo.

After the former footy player showed off his ink – ‘#MAFS’ on the underneath of his toes on one foot – unimpressed comments quickly surfaced online.

‘At this very moment, Seb is the most whipped man in Australia,’ one viewer wrote.

‘Please tell me that isn’t Seb,’ another said, as well as one who posted: ‘OH MY GOD! Why Seb?! Why?!’

Others found it particularly odd that Lizzie, 29, would pressure someone into getting a permanent reminder of their partner just weeks after meeting.

‘You cannot seriously pressure someone into getting a tattoo. That’s awful,’ one wrote.

Another added: ‘Seb, don’t do it for Lizzie. Only do it if you want a tattoo.’

During Monday’s episode, Lizzie took Seb to a tattoo parlour following a heated argument the night before.

Lizzie then tried to convince Seb to get a tattoo to prove his commitment to her.

‘It would mean a lot if you got a tattoo for me. It’s more than a ring,’ she insisted, while getting two crescent-shaped moons tattooed on the side of her waist.

Seb was initially adamant that there was ‘no way’ he was getting a tattoo, jokingly asking Lizzie if they did henna tattoos.

An apprehensive Seb admitted it was a ‘huge decision’, and clearly not one he was prepared for.

Hesitant at first: 'I'll get something on the bottom of my foot,' he told an 'excited' Lizzie, before admitting he was 'scared' about getting his first tattoo

After taking a moment to think about it though, the nervous groom told Lizzie he’d do it after previously ‘preaching about being committed’.

Seb then asked Lizzie to hold his hand as the tattoo artist got to work, leaving him wincing in pain.

But it was over almost as quickly as it started, with Seb revealing his tattoo – ‘#MAFS’ written underneath his toes.

A laughing Lizzie called it ‘amazing’, and said she was shocked Seb had actually gone through with it.

‘I don’t think he kind of knows how much that meant to me. I didn’t expect him to do it. It’s opened my eyes a little bit more,’ she said.

A limping Seb then walked out of the tattoo parlour, holding hands with his ‘proud’  wife.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
