Former MasterChef judge Gary Mehigan has listed his home in Melbourne’s affluent Malvern East for sale.

The 53-year-old is hoping to make a tidy profit by listing the abode for a price guide of $5.9million to $6.49million after purchasing it for $3.3million eight years earlier.

The period home on 66 Central Park Road was built in 1886 and boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms as well as a luxurious solar-heated swimming pool.

Gary’s home was brought under the name of his wife Mandy, and he is now hoping to offload it to spend more time at his country property.

The Malvern East property sits on 1070 square metres and is situated opposite an idyllic park in the Gascoigne Estate.

The home is listed by Joanna Nairn and Maria Vovos of Marshall White Stonnington.

Gushing over the home, Nairn says: ‘It is an amazing home on great land literally directly opposite Central Park.

Gary is best known for his ten-year judging role on Channel Ten’s MasterChef Australia.
