MasterChef star Reece Hignell reveals he’s teaming up with Reynold Poernomo on a new project at his dessert bar KOI

And now Reece Hignell, 30, has revealed he’s teaming up with co-star Reynold Poernomo, 26, on a new project at Reynold’s dessert bar, KOI.
Reece will be hosting special cooking classes at KOI to teach fans how to make some of his famous recipes, including his tasty lemon tart and his brown butter tart.

The classes will be held from July 20-22 in the kitchen at the eatery in Sydney’s Ryde, with guests being able to take home their creations.
The classes run for three hours and cost a whopping $350 per person.
But participants receive a $50 KOI gift card to use upon booking in.

On Friday, Reece delighted his 95,000 Instagram followers by sharing the secret to making the perfect indulgent chocolate brownie.
Reece posted the ingredients and instructions, along with a delectable image of his gooey-looking treats, leaving fans drooling.
‘Here is a throwback to my Dulce de Leche chocolate brownie – weekend baking maybe? Haha,’ Reece cheekily captioned the post.
Eager fans rushed to tell Reece they couldn’t wait to give the dessert a try.

‘Oooh making right now,’ wrote one excited follower.
Another added: ‘Yum this looks unreal.’

The talented chef has made it to the final five of Channel 10’s cooking competition.
He will battle against Laura Sharrad, Reynold, Callum Hann and Emelia Jackson for the top spot and $250,000 cash prize.
