Matt LeBlanc cuts a casual Friday figure as he stocks up on groceries in Los Angeles ahead of the weekend

His highly anticipated reunion with his beloved TV friends has again been delayed until next year at the earliest.

But in the meantime, actor Matt LeBlanc was seen at Ralph’s supermarket in Los Angeles, California on Friday, making a grocery run just in time for the weekend.

The Friends alum, 53, was casual in dark sportswear, which included a baseball hat and face mask.

Matt sported a thick, dark blue hoodie showing the logo from Fox Racing, Inc., along with black Puma track pants with blue piping.

He wore matching black sneakers with red and white detailing.

LeBlanc’s cap displayed the Ferrari emblem, and he donned a standard disposable blue surgical face mask in observance of the local mandates requiring face coverings in public due to COVID-19.

The television star has been a household name for over 20 years thanks to his role as struggling NYC actor Joey Tribiani in the NBC megahit Friends, which ran from 1994 until 2004.

Curiously, LeBlanc has only had a handful of screen credits since then – five, in fact – including one recurring stint on his Friends costar Lisa Kudrow’s series Web Therapy.

Unlike most TV actors, Matt has had quite a bit of luck with the series he’s chosen; after Friends, all three of the shows he’s been a part of have made it past one season.

Those included the Friends spinoff Joey, which lasted 43 episodes over two seasons, along with Showtime’s hit Episodes, which ran from 2011 until 2017.

His most recent credit is CBS’s Man With A Plan, which premiered its fourth season this year.

Before Friends, though, Matt was a part of a few TV series that did not make it past one season, like two misbegotten Married… With Children spinoffs, Vinnie & Bobby and Top Of The Heap.

Meanwhile, Matt’s highly-anticipated Friends reunion special has been slated to premiere on HBO Max ever since the platform’s debut this past spring.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the actual filming of the special, which will bring back costars Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry, has been delayed several times.

The shoot was originally pushed to August, and then teased for Thanksgiving. The most recent word is that there is no official shoot date scheduled, as everyone is waiting until a time when it is safe to get all the Friends together in one room – and ideally, on one couch.
