She released her own skincare line after leaving her Radio 1 job in May 2020. 

And Maya Jama reportedly wants to go one step further by becoming the latest celebrity to launch a make-up range. 

It’s understood that the presenter, 26, wants to release the line this year but is ‘taking her time with the cosmetics’, according to The Sun

Maya will launch the line, which will include lip-kits, eyeshadows, foundations and primers, when ‘it’s right’, the source said. 

She released her skincare line, MIJ Masks, last year which included face masks as well as eye patches.

A friend told the publication: ‘Maya is a shrewd businesswoman and is determined to make a name for herself in the cosmetics market. 

‘Her debut skincare range, MIJ, has been a runaway hit, with her face masks selling out in the first week, making her around £250,000 in seven days.

‘Maya has now trademarked cosmetics under the brand name.’

It comes amid claims Maya and ex-boyfriend Stormzy, 27, reunited to spend Christmas Day together.

Maya and the rapper called it quits on their relationship in August 2019 after four years together however are thought to have stayed pals.

It has now been claimed that some friends of the former flames are hoping their festive meet-up could rekindle their romance and see them become a couple again. 

A source told The Sun: ‘Stormzy and Maya remained friends after their split and they decided to spend some time together over Christmas. 

‘This is very much friendship but their mates think something could happen between them in the future.

‘They made a lovely couple and given everything that’s happened this year, it seems they could grow closer again.’ 

The source added that Stormzy and Maya kept things ‘low key’ for the time spent at her home in London over the celebrations.

The pair started dating in January 2015 after meeting the previous year and went public with their romance in 2016, however they split in August 2019.
