Megan Thee Stallion explains she looks ‘sexual’ when she Twerks because she has ‘assets’:

Megan Thee Stallion doesn’t care what people think about her body.

The 25-year-old rapper says no one else controls her image and she will twerk if she wants to, even if some people find it offensive because she’s ‘got the assets’.

‘Twerking was supposed to be a thing that was sneaky fun- like, bad. And now it’s a thing where it’s supernormal, it’s very casual, you see everybody doing it,’ she told W magazine. ‘Let me say this: Different body types offend different people. So if you are maybe smaller, twerking doesn’t come off as offensive, but when you got the assets, then that’s when it comes off as, “Oh my God, what the hell is going on?”‘

No apology: Megan Thee Stallion doesn’t care what people think about her body. The 25-year-old rapper says no one else controls her image and she will twerk if she wants to, even if some people find it offensive because she’s ‘got the assets’; seen in WAP

She added, ‘It becomes a sexual thing. But I can’t help it that I got this body. I’ma twerk, and it’s gon’ look this way, and it might be offensive to you because I look like this, but I can’t help it. And I don’t care. I don’t care that you feel that way.’

And Megan refuses to allow anyone tell her what to do.

She said: ‘A lot of times a lot of stuff is still happening where people do try to control your image; they try to put together a plan for you. But I have a lot of freedom.’

Megan Thee Stallion has one of the biggest hits in music right now with her hit song WAP with Cardi B, and now she graces the cover of W Magazine’s The Music issue.

She also speaks about the relationship she has with her fan base, known as ‘hotties,’ who have jumped to her defense in times of need.

The rapper was clad in a plaid Miu Miu crop top sweater that exposed part of her midriff and leggings for the cover shoot.

She didn’t pull any punches when it came to several topics, including racism and the Black Lives Matter movement, which she said, ‘feels different.’

‘People have been able to hide a lot of racism, but now that we have social media, we see everything,’ the rapper said.

‘You know, anything can go viral, so I really like how we’re able to catch these people doing these disgusting things and put ’em on blast, and people are getting fired from their jobs,’ she added.’

‘It’s like, Yeah, we see you. You like to be disgusting in private, so let us show you how to keep that same energy in public. I like that we get to call everybody out now,’ she added.

The rapper posted about Black Lives Matter and the death of George Floyd, though she also talked about why it was frustrating.

‘Why would you not speak out, or why would you not do everything you could to make a change if you know this is just wrong, in general?’ she began.

‘I shouldn’t have to tell you how to fix racism. I shouldn’t have to tell you not to be racist. I shouldn’t have to tell you how to help us,’ the rapper added.

‘Like, you should just genuinely feel that way. The color of your skin does not dictate the function of your brain,’ Megan added.

She also praised her fans for all they have done, like start a #FreeTheStallion hashtag after she said in an Instagram Live video her then-label wouldn’t let her release new music.

‘I saw the Hotties doing a lot of things, like writing letters on Tumblr and DM-ing me all the time. I just wanna say thank y’all so much, ’cause y’all really been the ones that been helping me get through this,’ she said.

For all of her fans, there are naysayers as well, with the rapper expressing her disbelief about the things people say on the internet.

‘It’s really mind-blowing to see the nasty things that people say to you. I don’t know if people think you not gon’ see it,’ she said.

‘I feel like just being an artist, waking up every day, voicing your own opinions is a risk… Just talking. Being real is a risk,’ she added.

She also revealed that she has recorded 20 songs for her debut full-length album, though it’s not clear when it will be released.
