Michael Clarke shares playful pictures of daughter Kelsey Lee playing hide-and-seek

He’s been spending more time doting on his daughter since splitting with Pip Edwards.

And Michael Clarke was being the perfect dad again on Sunday, with the former test cricket captain taking to his Instagram Stories to share photos from playtime with Kelsey Lee, five.

In the photos, the daughter he shares with ex-wife Kyly Clarke was caught playing hide-and-seek in a cardboard box.  

The 39-year-old retired athlete captioned the photos of his girl looking up at him from the bottom of the box with laugh-crying emojis.  

On Saturday, the one-time star batsman enjoyed quality time with Kelsey and her cousins.

Michael took a photo showing Kelsey Lee and her cousins riding their scooters and a skate board down the street.

He wrote in the caption: ‘The perfect afternoon,’ along with the hashtag ‘#cousinlove’ and a blue heart emoji. 

Michael’s afternoon with his family comes after his split from P.E Nation founder Pip Edwards. 

It’s understood they split in recent weeks, less than a year after they went public with their romance. 

While they were inseparable for much of the relationship, neither has featured on the other’s Instagram since Australia Day.

When contacted about their split at the time, Pip told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have no comment, no comment at all.’ 

Sources close to the pair said while they have gone their separate ways, they remain good friends and the split was ‘amicable’.

Another said that despite the couple’s propensity for loved-up Instagram posts, in recent times ‘things had been rather rocky’.

Pip and Michael are believed to have started dating shortly after the sports star split from his wife of seven years, Kyly Clarke, in September 2019.

Michael and Kyly, 39, announced their split in February last year, around the same time Pip and Michael denied they were an item.
