Michelle Keegan has urged her followers to keep an eye out for a missing dog after an Essex-based dog owner had their pooch stolen ‘in broad daylight’.

The Brassic actress, 33, reshared the ‘missing dog’ post on her Instagram stories after the owner revealed the cocker spaniel was snatched from her garden.

Asking anyone with information to come forward, Michelle re-posted photos of the lost pet, slamming the ‘disgusting’ thieves who snatched the pup.

The thieves’ car details were shared, and the victim explained that police were helping with the case.

They also thanked everyone who has helped so far, writing: ‘I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has commented, liked and shared my story.’

It comes after Michelle was left ‘fuming’ on Easter Sunday as husband Mark Wright failed to get her any eggs.

The former Coronation Street star took to Twitter to write she was ‘fuming’ at the lack of chocolate treats.

She shared her anger with her 3.4million followers, and wrote: ‘Not 1 Easter Egg… fumin!’

Husband Mark, 34, may have forgotten to get her one, but luckily mother-in-law Carol Wright came to the rescue.

She replied to the tweet: ‘I have Easter eggs for you all x’.

Mark recently gave fans an update on their housing situation earlier this week after demolishing the four-bedroom farmhouse they bought to build their ‘dream home.’

The presenter is in the process of building the lavish mansion from scratch after he and Michelle sold their original five-bedroom pile in rural Essex.

Speaking to fans during a Q&A on Wednesday evening, he admitted progress was being made, but an official moving in date was still a long way off.

Responding to a fan who asked how the house was coming along, he wrote: ‘Coming along nicely thanks, but I just want to click my fingers and it be done.’

The TV personality also shared images from the skeletal build, suggesting its completion might not be for some time.

Asked by another fan when the house will be completed, he added: ‘Tomorrow hopefully. Wishful thinking.’

Mark and Michelle purchased their new home for £1.3m in October last year and it was revealed in January that they would demolish the four bedroom farmhouse to create the sensationally lavish new house with ‘classical design’.
