A genius mum has used her handy Cricut machine to make dinosaur quesadillas for her little girl – but the toddler wasn’t the only one impressed by the epic lunch.

The video showing off the cute lunch-time projects went viral on TikTok and has been seen more than 4million times.

The mum simply placed a tortilla on her Cricut machine and set it to cut out a shape of a cute cartoon brontosaurus.

She repeated this twice to make the top and bottom of her daughter’s quesadilla.

She then placed one of the dinosaurs in a hot frypan and placed grated cheese on top before adding the second brontosaurus on top.

The craft activity ‘made a little bit of mess’ but was easy to clean up, according to the mum.

‘My blade still works,’ she said, surprised in the comments.

She also explained she used the machine’s rotary blade on the cotton setting to achieve the incredible results.

WHAT IS A CRICUT MACHINE?

A Cricut is an electronic cutting machine that can cut all sorts of designs from materials like paper, vinyl, card stock, and iron-on transfers. Some Cricut machines can even cut leather and wood! You can use the Cricut to cut just about anything you would typically cut with scissors or an X-acto knife.

‘Cotton, what a great idea, I looked through my manual and nothing explained how to cut tortillas,’ one crafter said.

The mum served the lightly browned, cheese-filled brontosaurus on a lettuce leaf and decorated the table with ceramic dinosaurs.

‘Poor dinos, watching their friend get eaten,’ one person said.

Most people commended the mum on the amazing effort – noting they would be thrilled to be served up a dinosaur for lunch.

Others complained the hack wasn’t food safe. 630k people left comments and liked the video with one admitting they had returned for small bursts of joy ‘often’.
