Myleene Klass praised her eldest daughter Ava, 13, on Thursday night after she passed her grade seven cello exam in lockdown.

Taking to Instagram, the classically trained musician, 42, revealed that she had accompanied Ava on the piano during the virtual examination.

Myleene gushed that she was ‘super proud’ of her eldest child and sweetly called her a ‘little grafter’.

Although the presenter admitted that she didn’t know who was ‘more worried’ about Ava’s grade eight cello exam.

Alongside a short video of the examination, Myleene penned: ‘Well Done @pianos_our_forte. Grade 7 Cello passed in lockdown. 

‘I don’t know who’s more worried for Grade 8, you playing or me accompanying! Super proud of you, little grafter! x (massive Thank you @heeyoni94) x.’

Ava was also praised a collection of Myleene’s celebrity pals including Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, Carol Vorderman and Kate Thornton.

It comes after Myleene announced she will recommence her online music lessons for schoolchildren after the UK was plunged back into lockdown.

The singer provided free lessons via her Myleene’s Music Klass series throughout lockdown 1 last year, and will be doing the same again following the commencement of a new six-week lockdown.

Mum-of-three Myleene is one of several celebrities recommencing efforts to keep the nation entertained and educated while schools are closed in the coming weeks, with Joe Wicks re-starting his PE With Joe series from Monday.

Myleene told her Instagram followers: ‘The arts has taken a total hammering, so the fact that children are missing out on classes, let alone that outlet and skill set, it’s so important to have that in your lives, as music can teach you so many things.’

She also appeared on ITV News on Tuesday evening, adding: ‘I feel that we definitely have the chance to lighten the mood. And as a parent myself I know what the pressures feel like.

‘I’ve got two children home-schooling and a toddler, who is just doing his own thing. There is a lot of pressure on parents.

Joe, 34, made the announcement on Twitter on Monday evening, as Boris Johnson devastated the nation with his announcement of a third lockdown.
