Natalie Portman goes incognito in a hat and sunglasses as she enjoys a solo stroll in Sydney – amid rumours she’s set to appear in Russell Crowe’s new film Poker Face

She’s one of the most recognisable superstars on the planet.

So it’s no wonder Natalie Portman, 39, tried to fly under the radar as she stepped out in Sydney for a solo stroll on Sunday.

The Black Swan actress, who has been living in Australia with husband husband Benjamin Millepied, 43, and their two children since last November, managed to avoid the prying eye of fans by disguising herself beneath a large hat and sunglasses.

Swathing her figure beneath a black coat and baggy trousers, a low-key Natalie was seen chatting on the phone as she made her way down the footpath.

She completed her look with a pair of white sneakers and a designer cross-body bag in black leather.

Elsewhere during the outing, the actress was spotted grabbing a take-away coffee.

At this stage in the outing Natalie had removed her hat and jacket, while covering her face with a red-and-white mask.

Natalie’s outing comes amid rumours she’s set to star in Russell Crowe’s new psychological thriller Poker Face.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, the Gary Fleder-directed blockbuster will commence filming next month in Australia, with reports it will be filmed in parts of the New South Wales east coast.

According to Deadline, Poker Face tells the tale of a tech billionaire called Jake (played by Russell) who gathers his childhood friends to his Miami estate for what turns into a high stakes game of poker.

‘Those friends have a love hate relationship with the host, a master game-player/planner, and he has concocted an elaborate scheme designed to bring a certain justice to all of them,’ Deadline reports.

Natalie is meanwhile in the final stages of filming her new Marvel blockbuster Thor: Love And Thunder, alongside Chris Hemsworth.
