Olympic swimmer Grant Hackett has put his stunning beachside villa on the Gold Coast up for auction.

The 40-year-old purchased the $1.5millon back in 2014 under his company, Hackett Group, and is set to go under the hammer on May 30, realestate.com.au reported on Friday.

The palatial home, which looks out to and is just steps from Mermaid Beach, features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The sale of the stunning abode comes Grant and partner Sharlene Fletcher surprised their Instagram followers by marrying in a secret ceremony in Melbourne on Sunday, December 20.

Grant and Sharlene announced their engagement in October 2019.  

The couple welcomed their baby boy Edward Anthony Hackett in January 2020.

Grant and Sharlene announced their engagement in October 2019. 

In July 2019, Grant announced he and his then-girlfriend were expecting a baby, in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.

‘I felt I was going to hit 40 and I wanted another opportunity as a dad,’ the gold medallist said.
