The couple have been married for five years, after their relationship began in 2012, two years after they met through her surgeon father Ruaraidh, who introduced them after he performed emergency kidney stone removal on Peter.

After welcoming their two tots, Emily admits that she is open to having more children but the COVID pandemic has sparked concern.

She said: ‘We’ve previously said we might have another baby after Theo goes to school and we’ve decided we’re gonna talk about it properly after Christmas…

‘I’m still unsure about being pregnant and giving birth in a pandemic. Even through there are various vaccines on the way, we may not be back to normal for some time.’

In September, Emily spoke more about parenthood as she said: ‘After we had our youngest, Theo, he was really hard work. He really tested my parenting skills. Now he’s gone to school, we started to think about it, I don’t know.’

While Peter who previously ruled out further children after their son was born admitted that he’s now open to the idea, adding it’s up to his with but ‘I’m OK with it.’

Emily and Peter began dating in 2012, after meeting through her father Ruaraidh, when he performed the kidney stones surgery in 2010.

Knowing she was a fan of his music, Ruaraidh introduced Emily to Peter leading to a friendship that developed into romance two years later.

Bad plan: Emily went on: 'That doesn't really float my boat, so I think he misjudged it slightly. Because I couldn't care less about cars or anything'

Now, Emily, who comes from a family of medical professionals with six out of eight of being doctors, is now working on the NHS frontline to fight coronavirus.

The family jetted to Cyprus over the summer for some much-needed family time during the COVID-19 crisis and Peter shared a video of the trip last week.

Peter shared a glimpse of his summer holiday on his new channel The Andres, and in the second video from his Cyprus series the family headed out for a walk in the quaint streets.

The star grabbed his phone to film his four children walking in unison, while Emily gushed: ‘Oh my gosh. All four of them together.’
