She confirmed their engagement in August last year following just two months of dating.

And Anthea Turner, 59, and her fiancé Mark Armstrong stopped to buy some fresh bread while out walking their pet pooch in South London, on Thursday, amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The former Blue Peter presenter nailed countryside chic in skinny jeans and a pair of wellington boots, teamed with a padded coat for their stroll.

Cutting a stylish figure, the host completed her ensemble with a pair cream scarf wrapped around her neck.

Anthea wore her shoulder-length tresses in a low ponytail and accentuated her radiant complexion with minimal make-up.

Mark wore similarly robust boots with his oversized jeans and stripy jumper, layering up against the chill with a simple navy coat as he held the French Bulldog’s lead. 

Andrea’s fiancé popped into a nearby Co-operative and bought fresh bread before the couple continued on their stroll.

Last month, coronavirus was classed a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), leading countries such as Italy, Spain and the to implement nationwide lockdowns.   

Sporting events, music festival and other social gatherings have been either cancelled or postponed due to the crisis. 

Anthea is set to walk down the aisle for a third time following a brief romance with the business tycoon.

The TV veteran was previously married to ex-husband Grant Bovey for 13 years, but the couple split after he cheated on her with a woman half her age in 2013. 

Last year, it emerged the soon-to-be husband and wife duo were set up by her best friend Lizzie Cundy in June – and despite being nervous to meet face-to-face, the connection was instant. 

Lizzie told MailOnline: ‘Mark is smitten. He’s a very funny, jolly guy from a very rich Italian family.’ 

Anthea shared a collage of snaps from their romantic getaway, confessing Mark had taken her ‘breath away’ and she was ‘bursting with happiness’ after the engagement.

She posted on Facebook: ‘Our Roman adventure continues…. Happy Birthday today Mark Armstrong.
