Pregnant Emily Ratajkowski bundles up against NYC chill… after posting stunning nudes as she prepares to welcome her firstborn child

Emily Ratajkowski kept out the New York City chill as she emerged from lockdown this Thursday.

The 29-year-old supermodel, who is pregnant with her first child by her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, pulled a thick red jacket over a dark hoodie.

Just a couple of days prior she posted a string of stunning pregnancy nudes taken by photographer Renell Medrano to Instagram.

Emily announced her pregnancy on the cover of Vogue and wrote an essay inside about why she will not declare the gender.

‘When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after: “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?”‘ she said.

‘We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then,’ she shared, admitting that ‘everyone laughs at this.’

Sebastian, whose producing credits include Uncut Gems, married Emily at a courthouse wedding in New York in 2018 where she wore a $200 Zara trouser suit.

During her pregnancy the Gone Girl actress has also been working on an upcoming book of essays that currently has the title My Body.

Emily’s latest outing in New York comes a week after she shared the cover of the upcoming book, which has been promoted as ‘personal exploration of feminism, sexuality, and power of men’s treatment of women.’

During a British GQ interview published last May Emily described her book as ‘like a memoir, but with added political thinking.’

The London-born celebrity explained: ‘I’m trying to use my experience as a model and someone who has capitalized on their image and also someone who has been maybe a victim of their image. It’s complicated.’

Emily went on: ‘I am looking at all that through a feminist perspective and just trying to decipher some of the answers. I don’t have them all yet; maybe I never will.’
